First off, the staff is part of the experience. They are beyond helpful and genuinely want their guests to have a first rate experience while on and off the property. The cabins are just unbelievable. King beds, nice size sofas, fireplaces....it's like walking into what any homeowner would want as a master suite in their own home. The property overall is very convenient to nearby Grants Pass or other places within driving distance like Crater Lake National Park. This will be our home base for the duration of our tour of southern Oregon.

Absolutely amazing! ! The property is beautiful, the staff is awesome, and the rooms are very clean and cozy. I've never had such an great experience staying anywhere, friendliest staff that truly want to make you experience one to remember. Already planning our next trip back!

Do not stay in the manor house unless you have the place to yourself. Paper thin walls and loud neighbors kept is up all night. We might as well have been sleeping in the same room. Quite a terrible experience. I am usually an optimist, but this was a big let down.

What a wonderful setting with historical warm ambience! We had a one night stay most comfortable at that in the Clark Gable room. A nice light breakfast on the deck was so pleasant and restful. Staff was friendly but invisible so you felt like you had privacy to enjoy the surroundings. It was also quiet and clean.

Absolutely beyond our belief. Thank you to Michaela for the wonderful surprise when I mentioned that it was our anniversary in the delightful convo we had. We are hooked and will bring our kids back. Everything was beyond my expectations and I am a travel snob.

Beautiful relaxing grounds to enjoy. River cabins with giant fireplace and very tastefully designed interior. This place is a gem. Listed in multiple magazines as a destination hotel. I'll come here as often as I can. The staff is wonderful and always looking to please.

Loved this spot. So relaxing. The staff were so helpful and sweet. Definitely recommend for romantic getaway! Breakfast was not the best, but after the first day we just went out. Still worth the price with purchasing breakfast elsewhere. It was all microwaved Costco fare. Their restaurant recommendation Rivers Edge was great! We will return.

We had the great good fortune to stay at the Weasku Inn late afternoon after an all-day stormy drive from Santa Cruz, CA. We discovered we were the only guests! Surely the weather & time of year had everything to do with that. Staff were very friendly. Our room & bath upstairs in the inn was delightful, including the jacuzzi tub. Downstairs rooms large, warm, & comfortable. We enjoyed the late afternoon snack of fresh fruit & raw vegetables, also the evening chocolate cookies. Yes, we heard road noise (our room faced the road), but traffic died down before we slept. Five things draw my rating down, all fixable: 1. Breakfast was pre-processed Monsanto-ingredient food, tasteless except for sugar & salt --rock hard scrambled eggs, microwaved bacon, reheated faux-scones, jam made with high-fructose corn syrup. Anomalously, the coffee was labeled "rainforest." 2. The mattress was the hardest I've ever slept on. 3. The bedside lamps sit too low to be useful for reading in bed. 4. The toilet had a hard time flushing. 5. The shower adjustment was either too hot or too cold

Charming B&B along Rogue River. We were greeted by very friendly innkeeper, Kirt who had just put out afternoon snacks for us. We stayed at the 'Clark Gable' room which is located in the main building. It is cutely decorated with a pretty tall bed (I am 5' 2"). Thoughtfully, a short little ladder is provided. :) I noticed there are many other cabins behind the main buildings that look very nice. Continental breakfast is quite average. I was hoping for a bit more 'homemade' touch. Nevertheless, this is still a great B&B to stopover. I would stay again next time.

Incredible, historic, romantic place. I've stayed in the newer gorgeous cabins and in Gable's room... Very special place.

We can not believe our great good fortune in finding this unique and charming place. What memories they created for us. Zackie, the evrning hostess greeted us like old friends . Our cabin was spacious and beautiful, king bed, gas fireplace, all the modern comforts, in rich rustic setting. Late aftrrnoon, delicious h'ordeuves, wine. Later, fresh baked chocolate chip cookies. WOWIE! During the evening " party," Zackie regaled us with the amazing history of the place. Have her tell you about Clark Gable anf Carol Lombard. NEXT MORNING, waffles. Biscuits and gravy, fresh fruit, bagels, and more, under the caring hands of morning hostess, Edie. THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS AND INCLUDED IN THE TOTAL PRICE. AN AWESOME VALUE. We didn't meet Karen, who maintained the room in such top shape, but we appreciared her work. THIS WAS A MAGNIFICENT. FIND AND I GIVE IT MY STRONGEST RECOMMENDATION. Hard to imagine anyone being even slightly disappointed. Loved it all.

Stayed here a few weeks ago and thought it looked like a very cute place. Upon walking the grounds in that afternoon/evening heard immensely LOUD music and pornographic noises coming from one of the main cabins. We decided to look past it and try to enjoy our stay. Upon check-out we asked the front desk about accommodations in the coming weeks since we would be traveling with our small bird. She said they don't usually allow pets but thought it would be fine and told me to call for a room on our way down. I left my name and phone number with her in case she was mistaken and could not accommodate our bird. I called this morning to make a reservation for this evening after I was told they had plenty of available rooms. The woman on the phone was INCREDIBLY RUDE - said "oh no! We can't do a bird here!" and basically hung up on me. So they allow LOUD MUSIC and PORNOGRAPHIC SEX but a small bird in a cage is where they draw the line. We definitely will NOT be staying there again.

Modern comfort + historic ambiance + rustic appeal. Yes, it's the trifecta: that elusive intersection between well-appointed in the style of a contemporary 4-star hotel (fancy bathroom, quality bedding, recent furnishings), full of character like a small-scale inn, and woodsy enough to feel in keeping with the natural setting. Our room (actually half of a cabin; each cabin seems to hold two rooms) was almost a suite: a king-size bed, a table and chairs, plus a sofa facing a large fireplace. The bathroom was ENORMOUS and very nicely finished (double sinks, huge counter, stone tiles). So cosy and delightful! Best of all: the large private deck facing the river, with lovely wooden rocking chairs. Breakfast was a good (but not gourmet) breakfast that went a bit beyond the standard continental options: in addition to scones, biscuits and gravy there were boiled eggs, yogurt, fruit, cereal and other options I'm probably forgetting. Since we were there in late July, we harvested one part of breakfast ourselves: a huge bowl of blackberries from the bushes that are abundant on this property. The only downside to this Inn is the location: while you have a view of the river, you also enjoy the background sound of the highway. It's not intrusive (city slicker that I am, I initially thought it was the sound of the river) but it's a constant white noise. And the hotel is on a pretty unsightly strip at the edge of Grants Pass, though once you get to the property the ugly strip feels far removed. If you're going to be in Grants Pass, I can't imagine a more delightful place to stay. Visited Monday July 23, 2012.

Amazing place located on the Rogue River. We stayed in Clark Gables favorite room and it was such a treat! The log cabin type lodge is cozy, warm and inviting. The staff welcoming and quite helpful.

What a delightful find! Booked via trip advisor and loved everything about the stay. The staff was friendly and made us feel very much at home, even recommending an amazingly good restaurant down the road. Loved the history knowing Clarke Gable stayed there so many times, so many years ago. Highly recommend!!

What an excellent find! Having run a bit late driving from Bend, to visit my family in Grants Pass, we were struggling to find a place to stay for the night. On top of that, we had very little cell service to be able to find a place, but then we got lucky, and that was just the start of it! We found this place through Google, and the pictures looked really nice. It was in a very good location, being right along the river (and only 10 minutes away from my family). We arrived, and were immediately drawn in by the beauty of the resort. Log buildings, lush property and the smell of freshly baked cookies throughout the lobby. We were greeted at the reception by a very friendly and bubbly woman, who understood our dilemma. She had one last cabin available (not even just a room, but an entire cabin!), and gave it to us at a decent rate. We were every so pleased. The area was quiet, the rooms were furnished in a style fitting for a log cabin along the river in Oregon, and I could go on and on about how lovely this place was! I hope to be able to stay there again some day.

Very happy to find that I am the first to sing the praises of the Weasku Inn in Grants Pass Oregon. I have had the good fortune to stay here at least 4 times and every year it just gets better. The best thing I can say about the Inn is it isn't a Hilton or Marriott its a warm friendly bed and breakfast style inn along the Rogue river where you are welcomed like an old friend. The decor is fantastic a mix of older and some new, the cabins are great many have a porch that looks over the river. Some also have fireplaces. The grounds are very well kept with huge trees reaching up over 100 feet. There is an osprey nest that can be viewed from the deck and Adirondack chairs all over the place for reading and relaxing. I attend a private event every year at the Weasku and its perfect for company off sites. They have a meeting facility and can arrange for you to have the entire compound for an event. I can't say enough about the place and highly recommend it.

We had a family reunion and rented the house for 3 couples and 4 children. It was fantastic. We felt like we were home. Starting with Zacky making the initial reservation, and then the welcome hug when we arrived. The entire 4 nights were amazing. I would highly recommend this except I don't want it too popular or we won't get in. The continental breakfast is great. Grounds are beautiful well maintained. Thank you Weasku inn - you are a 5 star plus! The Capestro family will beBACK!!!

Everyone that worked here was super nice! Great location right by a beautiful trail, wine in the afternoons and warm cookies for bed....

Wow! What a treasure. In the woods right next to the Rogue River. Even with all of the smoke in the Grants Pass area, the Weasku remained divine. Great patio to view the river & amazing bird life. River walk, too, or great chairs for sitting outside. Peaceful, calm, relaxing. Great deals through Priceline. Delicious breakfasts, afternoon appetizers , & evening chocolate chip cookies. Yum! Will definitely be back again for a rest. Also short trek to Jacksonville & Grants Pass, too. Many wineries in the nearby Applegate Valley. Oh I forgot to mention the delicious Duck Pond Pinot Gris w evening appetizers. High speed internet, too. A truly A+ place.

The Weasku Inn is an historic property, built in 1923 which has served as a getaway for the likes of Clark Gable and Walt Disney. Gable stayed there regularly over a period of 30 years. There is a reason. It's convenient, yet remote at the same time. It's close to restaurants and other services yet it is out on the country along the Rogue River. It's a peaceful place to gather one's thoughts while still retaining the ability to be as connected as one wants to be. The hotel has been thoroughly renovated to add all of the modern conveniences, including WiFi yet retains the rustic ambiance of the old days. It's a small inn with four guest rooms in the lodge and a number of "cabins" by the river. The "cabins" look very rustic on the outside but are luxurious on the inside. You don't have to give up comfort here. Both cabins and the lodge have rooms with outstanding temperature control, even in the middle of winter and the ability to dial up or down based on personal preference. Bathrooms are modern with retro-styled fixtures down to ceramic valve handles at the sink. The Weasku offers a complimentary continental breakfast in the morning. Just fill out a sheet each night and check off what you want and it will be waiting at a time of your choosing. The staff are very friendly and helpful but they know just when to disappear and allow guests to relax. But if you need anything, just ask. They'll even provide a nice bottle of wine at a price that is competitive with stores in town. This is a small inn which is not geared to big crowds, so service is very personal and a guest will never feel part of a huge mega-hotel of noise and craziness. The nightly wine receptions at the lodge allow guests to mingle and meet each other and sit by the fire and chat as if in one's own living room. I can't think of any place like the Weasku in all of my international travels. It's simply unique and offers a blend of old and new in a very relaxing atmosphere. Rates are reasonable by big city standards and vary with the season. There is cheaper lodging in town but I feel the beautiful grounds, relaxed atmosphere and the peacefulness make this worth the extra money. The inn is easily accessible from the Rogue River exit on I-5 on the Rogue River Highway which runs into the South end of Grants Pass. You don't have to go far to find things to do.

We stayed here in mid November, during the changing of colors! .. The cozy, rustic, quaintness of the cabin facing the beautiful Rogue River and lush surroundings was very peaceful . The lodge was welcoming with a big wood burning fireplace and friendly staff. Zackie and Brent were both very accommodating. We enjoyed our stay and will return :-)

Lovely historic lodge just outside Grants Pass!! This is a great place to choose if you'd like a romantic time warp back to the days of wood lodges along the Rogue! Rooms are so classy and comfortable, from quilted beds and daybeds, to all the modern amenities, no little luxury is left out. Free appetizers and wine tasting each afternoon, a great breakfast included, surrounded by decks and gardens, and a stone's throw from riverside. The private cabins are even better! Great for families or couples...big thanks to the awesome staff too, especially Zackie, Kurt, and Allison.

We drove in a bit late (as usual) from the California coast and found this via smartphone. What a wonderful and luxurious surprise! Wolfgang Puck coffee, large bathroom with tub, gas fireplace, view of the river and custom breakfast. While breakfast in our cabin was offered, I wanted to experience the lodge which is built from old logs. We had a nice window seat and could hear the crackling fire. Fresh scones, cinnamon rolls, bisquits and gravy, hard boiled eggs, oatmeal. Excellent WiFi!

Could not say enough good things about this place. Even better than I had hoped. Charming, comfortable, clean... like going back in time in the most excellent way. The Weasku was a retreat and reprieve from the stress of life. I didn't want to leave. All those working at the Inn were kind, considerate, helpful... Quality in everything. Just knowing this place exists on the Rogue River is a comfort to me. I cannot wait for a time when we can go back. My husband felt the same way. The breakfast, appetizers and evening milk and cookies were exceptional as well. Bravo! Keep up the good work. Hope to see you again.

We stayed at this Inn while in town for a high school graduation. This was our first visit and we were so very nicely surprised!!! The room was lovely, the service was excellent, informative and friendly. Bed was very good. The room was very clean and attractive. I would suggest this restful, quiet and attractive Inn to anyone travelling the I-5 corridor, touring or visiting from out of town.
